yeh i thought it was a lot, but it has a full nissan service history, 1 owner and the low mileage. think i'm gonna get in touch with them and take it for a little spin :)

Yeh I want to keep, I'm just going to wait and see if they're going to repair the front damage or write it off. If they write it off I'll take some bits off (wheels, alarm etc) and sell them seperately then get a new one. If they fix it I'll have it thouroughly checked over when I get it back...

Just looked on the 'What Car?' website and it said Power Steering was an optional extra at £895 !?!

it's ok mate, having a bad day/week/month myself! I'll be using the power steering out of my sr to put into a new micra if i can't find one with PAS. after i've found out how difficult it would be to do of course

I have a clifford gt650 alarm fitted in my car and just wanted to know how easy this would be to remove if i decided to strip my car? would it be best to take it to an authourised clifford dealer and get them to remove it? Cheers Lee :)

incredible, is it an easy job to repair? i've just bought myself a brand new 3 piece clutch set off ebay

i have same problem i think :) noise goes when i put foot on the clutch gets worse as i accelerate, but dissapears in higher gears. someone told me it was my thrust/release bearing in the clutch

hmmmm, perhaps i'll leave them then :blush: for £400 you could probably sell your existing alloys and buy some black ones :D and i won't attempt myself as the spokes are pretty intricate and i'd end up making a mess!

seems i posted in the wrong forum *oops* how do you go about painting alloys? i'd like my spokes same colour as my car :)
