hey all im about to fit the headgasket now i have the bolts sorted on the k10 is it ok to apply some gasket paste around the gasket just to make sure its snug or would you guys not recomend it ? i have some of the red stuff that dont go fully hard cheers all Ian )

yeah the bolt is going right down before it slips and the bolt its self is A OK! also when the head came off im certan that the long bolts were inlet side and shorter ones on the exhaust

hey all what a week it has been! after a blown waterpump and headgasket i have a problem woth one of the head bolts, is seems as the thread on the block has gone the bolt tightens and then just slips again and again does anyone have any idea how this can be sorted and if so what kinda...

it must be somthing in the air! my water pump went so changed that and stuck a new cambelt on for good mesure only to find the headgasket on my k10 had gone! luckily a set will set me back about £25 she is all striped down and wating for the part as i just found out as the shops were closing :(

hey all just a quicky, did any k10s come with electric windows as im looking to innstall them soon and wonderd if there were any propper fitting switches designed for it as some of the kit ones look kinda big cheers again all Ian :)

found problem i hope i found a cracked flexi pipe that was going in the the heater matrixso upon replacing it the plastic hose on the matrix snaped (arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh) i have bypassed the matrix for now and hope that will sort it out untill i get time to fix it propper it just means i have no...

hey folks my radiator has been doing some strange things and i wonder if you guys can help me find the fault? i top up with water and everything is fine for a few hours temp stays down just below half way and everything is grand! then when it wants to there is a hissing sound from what i think...

did your main beam work though because mine are working fine ? would that make a diffrence if the lead was faulty ?

damm! yeah that is what i think is the dim-dip unit :( i have already changed that and still no joy anyother ideas people???

yeah i just checked the fuses and all seems in order ill have a go at locating the relay i have a feeling it will be under the dash somewhere fingers crossed it should solve the problem :)

where i the headlight relay ???? as the connectors seem fine :)
