yea, i checked with the multi meter, like i said, it saved before when the book was there, and i just removed, connected as it was, checked with mutli meter all the right readings, i think the box was a transformer or somthing,

yes the orange wire connects to the red wire, and the red wire connects to the battery, it all wired alright as it saved the setting and powered up with out the ign and i have hard wired, and still lose setting, everthing extaclly the same, extect the box is gone, and i get the right reading...

okay after realsing that you have to take off the plastic covers on the probes, i get the right reading the battery at iso but nothing but live, i know it works at fuse box cause it turns my amp on and off, so hopefully looks like headunit is working.

radio fuse box has gone okay i found my problem and good old keenwood is still working, see i know kenwood was strong, i would show you a picture of the fuse box but its on my phone and when i connect it, the mouse and keyboard go, being on a laptop this is verry bad.
