It's better not to hear it, a bit of fresh oil may help out with that one.

Disconnect the MAF from the throttle body, if it fixes the idle just leave it off. If not then it may be the old dry joint problem in the throttle body. Just use the search function to find all the details you need to sort it buddy.

Hello Kev. It was about 6 months ago, not so much a separate blog, but showed the part stripped down and his repair to it. From memory his problem was a broken spring inside the actuator, and a lot of rust. He replaced the spring, cleaned it all up and fixed the same problem you are having.

I would say that they were adjusted incorrectly by the first garage. I had mine done once and was not happy with them, took them to another garage and it took them nearly an hour to track them and balance them. They found out that their tracking machine needed adjusting as well as my tracking...

Just buy a 1.4 would be my advice......it's going to be expensive to insure though.
