Yep normal. As long as it goes away within a few secs and only rattles on idle its fine. Although sometimes it helps to check (and if needed adjust) the valves. Replacing the complete timing chain is a bitch but the top chain tentioner is easily replaced and sometimes helps quite a lot.

How did you wire it in? What ecu did you use? What loom?

I would start with figuring out where the odb2 connector went then

Normally underneath the steering wheel. No there are a few plugs next to the battery and relay box.

Do you have any fault codes (its odb2 so easy to scan) Also check the connectors next to the battery and clean them.

Does the nats light go out? (the led in the dash near the heater control). And does the check engine light flash?

Nissan used the same style fob on more cars. And they are interchangeable. But Not all work the same some are 2 quick clicks to open. Some are just 1. You have the round black fob with the key on it. Not the longer oval one with a black and red button that’s separate from the key.

Should just screw off with a wrench. Normally that part stays in the gear knob itself.

There are different types of fobs. And you have the wrong one. Its a security feature to prevent accidental unlock.

Yes that inlet will fit.

Yes it will bolt up but I don’t know if it will work with the torque converter of the k11 (ie if it will bolt to a ga16 flywheel) you might need to figure something out for that like drilling some holes in the ga16 flywheel or turn down the center of a k11 auto flywheel.
