o. is it solid because in the lowering guide it looks like a right bodge job.

wow 5 mm either side :o on the lowering guide its just grinded down on one side of the shock tho. i assume its works just as well if you do both sides. id rather do both sides rather than just one so its looks more balnced than just cut to F***

yeah for the rears cause from the lowering guide you need to take off quite a bit :/ easy job getting the rubber bushes off :/ never ending work this this business ;)

ah okay nice one! iv got them ordered up now aswell. one quesstion ;) did you grind down the shocks or cut them down to fit? thats my only worry really.

yeh my plan is the spring cup then a nylon washer then the top mount. joe did you drill out one of the bottom mount holes into the strut or did you have to make the hole bigger to the outside of it. if you know what i mean? cause i know there isnt a lot of metal left if i need to file out a hole...

omg you guys are killing me ;) so if i get the polo coilovers im going to have to get a better bearing :/

i read through that and i didnt understand a word of what they were saying. i reckon the polo coilovers will be ok with the micra top mount and bearing. should be safe.

ah i see. but as long as its safe im fine with that. only thing id have to watch out for is the drilling out of one of the bottom mount holes. ill order them once i know what my balance is.

o i see. so chucking top mount on the coilover will do the job. all this bearing business is confusing. where is the actual bearing. in the top mount?

yeh thats what i thought you had to do. only thing i dont understand is why you have to fit top cup from the micra on as they already come with the springs already in little top cups. im thinking of getting these...

o and h701 have you actually fitted polo 6n coilovers to your. i need to know if you can just put the k11 top mount onto the fronts? or if theres a thread would be great

;) they just seem easier to fit. plus i cant find a thread on how to fit polo fronts so decided to go with corsa. just trying to find some on ebay where the spring is on the shock rather than it coming with the egg shaped spring.

i dont mind that too much just a pain like it sounds to get the rear springs to fit the k11 springs cups nicly

thinking of a little grinding on the rears is a obvious but hopfully not loads :/ and sorry i forgot you had polos rather than corsa so my bad for asking :p.
