    Im looking for either: a 5 speed dogbox or 5 speed straight cut... so my question is what manafactuers do them so far i ve got Harry Hockley, Elite and Hewland. Also has anyone ever converted a K11 1300 to take a vauxhall gearbox ie F10, F13 or F15?? Any info muchly appreciated?

    you wont get near 200 bhp for under £9000 i wish it was that easy to get the power that some people quote.

    200 bhp out of a 1300 isnt that unheard of even in this country plenty of rally engines out their producing that without reving over 10k

    my super s chain let go at 97k bent the valves in cylinders 2,3 and 4 its not hard to change so why chance it

    Cheers for that. I just set it to what i thought was right by looking at the cams. Its running now nice now. I ve got the 1600 injectors on it with a 1 litre gearbox running at 11:1 compression ratio. does anyone know if the 1600 throttle body is an advantage to the 1300????

    i can only see some red paint on the chain that comes from the crank up to the head. i cant see anything on the top chain.
