    Compression-raising pistons CG13DE?

This is what's on my mind for some time.......as I have ordered some oem CG10DE pistons, but Nissan Holland told me it would take at least 2-3 months to get them, I'd like to know if there are any other ways (pistons) to raise the compression to about 10,5:1 Does anybody know a shop/place te...

    AEM Uego, but trouble!!!

The only difference between our two cars is mine is from 2000, his from 1997. But I don't think there are any difference between the engine and it's ecu-control. gr Chrismo

    AEM Uego, but trouble!!!

Thanks again ;-) Before I connected the AEM into the ECU, the original Lambda sensor was doing the job.The AEM was only for checking the A/F. When I was driving in 4th or 5th gear suddenly sometimes the power was GONE. I needed to shift back one gear and push the throttle to get power back...

    AEM Uego, but trouble!!!

Ok thanks man! Only if I go full throttle in 5th gear, as far as I know the a/f should be optimal, to avoid (as we call it in Holland) pingelen (self detonation). Because at this point the engine is giving it's full power. gr Chrismo

    AEM Uego, but trouble!!!

I get it, but the thing that makes no sence is (all Full Throttle) in the 1st 2nd and 3th gear I get numbers between 12-14, but in the 4th and 5th gear at first it turns between 14-16. All this Full Throttle, and the same rpm's. The ECU can not see what gear I drive, so why this?? gr Chrismo

    AEM Uego, but trouble!!!

You are right.....I need to take it on a dyno, but I was hoping there would be somebody having the same problem! gr Chrismo

    AEM Uego, but trouble!!!

Please help me with the following problem. I have an AEM Uego installed on my K11 1.3, and I'm not happy with the numbers! When I go WOT, the numbers should be around 12-13,5:1 (A/F). The strange thing is when I drive the 1, 2 or 3th gear and go WOT the AEM gives a reading between 12-14. This I...

    Anyone done any headwork?

You are right about that thing! You can only do those seats if you have a specific machine for this job. I also LET another company do this for me, as my seats are not as I would like them to be. gr Chrismo

    Anyone done any headwork?

If you LET another company do the headwork it's too expensive, but why not do it yourself? It's not as profi as they do, but if you only clean the ports, make them smooth, I'm convinced it never hurts! And you can do it simply!

    Anyone done any headwork?

I'm doing one right now! Have the NME cams from Matthew H, some CG10 pistons and got myself a "Dremel" and some tools for grinding and polishing the ports. Don't have any experience doing this, but it's a nice job and in Holland there are only a few people tuning their CG13 engine, so it's...

    CG13DE clutch

Ok ,the main reason I posted this topic is I want to make an engineswap in one weekend. When I take off the old gearbox I don't like to be surpriced with somthing like a worn out clutch. I take the risk, as I read here! Thanks!!

    CG13DE clutch

ok! But to be honest my clutch is not 100% any more. So when I swap the engine, I think about putting in another/new/more heavy one to be sure. Chrismo

    CG13DE clutch

I think about getting 110 hp inside my K11 CG13DE, but how about the clutch?? Will the oem one hold this power?? I've been told a GA16DE clutch will fit directly on the CG13DE engine, but has it ever been done? Or is there a way to simply upgrade my clutch for more power? Like another...

    CG10 pistons inside a CG13 engine

These pistonpens are always secured by 2 clips, and can removed realy simpel....even a child can do it! The pistonpens from the CG13 is something different, and as I am a mechanic, I know how easy it is to damage these things! Chris I don't have a doubt he can, but in my own country I...

    CG10 pistons inside a CG13 engine

I ordered some new CG10DE pistons, pistonrings and all gaskets. Also after a long search and a lot of reading I ordered a pair of cams at Matthew Humpries. I bought the Challenge cams, because I need the car for work and all daily needs. Together with the CG10 pistons Matt told me I'd get close...

    CG10 pistons inside a CG13 engine

This you tell me I know. But agressive and what's not? Another thing is I also like to use the car for DAILY use (work home/holiday). I'm thinking to get some cams from Matthew H, because I know he does many Micra tuning and is known with these engine types! Only thing is they have two...

    CG10 pistons inside a CG13 engine

The type of cams I need.......I meen lift and duration. This best suitable for the 10,2:1 cr, big exhaust header, custom intake manifold with 50mm TB and perhaps bigger injectors (this only if a AFR and SACF won't be enough). Somebody told me there is a sort of calculation to get the best cams...

    CG10 pistons inside a CG13 engine

Hope you're right! Any knowledge about the maximum lift for the cams I want to get? The CR will get around 10.2:1 , what cams will be best for this ratio? gr Chrismo
