What can Nistune do better in my situation than a E-manage? Chrismo

Remapping my CG13 K11 (nats) ECU, yes or no

Nats is nats....so it should not matter I think. -Bagas, you meen that it's possible that the Nats function is the reason the e-manage can not work with the K11 ignition? In Holland people tell me: Go Nistune standalone, but I'm not convinced I will have much more positive result on my...

Remapping my CG13 K11 (nats) ECU, yes or no

I have not used the screws, did all adjustments with the laptop. Only thing I did do with the 3 screws on the front was the basic idle settings. I also have the software needed to make idle run ok. Only stupid thing is I had to cut the ignitionwire and placed the e-manage in between, but what...

Remapping my CG13 K11 (nats) ECU, yes or no

I already have a E-manage blue inside the car, but it's hard to adjust this right! And as the a/f meter tells me the engine runs almost the whole time (full throttle) between 13 and 14, I realy think this is needs no adjustment. Soon I want to make a powerrun to see if the curves are as they...

Remapping my CG13 K11 (nats) ECU, yes or no

It's been a while I placed any messages here on the forum, sorry guys! The reason is my girlfriend has had some serious health problems... Also the CG13DE engine I had made is dead:grinning: I placed CG10 pistons inside, did some headwork and placed the 773 cams inside. All running but never...

CG13 Rev limiter removal by distributor modifications.

If you want to put the limiter a bit higher......you do as Matthew says: Cut the little metal between the hole and the ****. This way the electronic limiter goes away, and the fuel-cut comes in at 7500 rpm. Done it myself and it works 100%. At first I was a bit worried there was no limit...

    Re-programmable software for E-manage blue

Well Frank let me tell you one thing about tuning a CG13 in Holland. There is realy little info to get here unfortunately. The one man who might know these things is, for some personal reason, not talking to me. The only way to get known with this subject, is here at this club! I'm glad there...

    Re-programmable software for E-manage blue

You say set the ignition at -10 in stead of -15?

    Re-programmable software for E-manage blue

I got it for a nice price. And I hoped to do some "finetuning" with this on a powerbank. I feel there's a lot of people not being positive about the E-manage bleu. If I let my ecu be reprogrammed, woult this be way more ideal for me? gr Chrismo

    Re-programmable software for E-manage blue

Could be there was, and if so, perhaps somebody with the same mods as I have. That's why I asked. To put in completely different settings is useless, I know. gr Chrismo

    Re-programmable software for E-manage blue

I have heard there should be (or was) somebody who had a file to upload in the E-manage, suitable for a tuned CG13 engine. Is there anybody known with this thing? Or does anybody knows where to look for this? I'm going to fit in a E-manage soon, and it would be nice if I could try a...

    What's wrong?

Ed, I realy like to know what's possible. Yesterday I send an email to Fusion M. asking what's possible for me, changing the ECU settings/mappings. gr Chrismo

    What's wrong?

You say Lean AFR's? I have got standard Injectors and an aftermarket AFPR with gauge. It's set to a maximum of 3.0 bar. This is the point I don't get..... Why won't the engine run lean but rich?? I read people putting in 1.6 injectors because of running lean, also using a standard ECU. Can...

    What's wrong?

I have done some nice mods: >> 1.0 pistons inside my CG13 (cr from 9.6:1 to 12.5:1) (new pistonrings) >> Humpries 773 cams (all valves have the right shims) >> Cilinderhead ported + flowed (myself......so this COULD be NOT done as ik should be done and COULD couse the problem) >> K&N cone...

    1.0 Pistons in the 1.3.

The 773 cams are on it's way! Compressioncheck is not done, but with new rings this should not be wrong. Timingcheck done as you did (more or less), and checked the degrees on the pulley. These numbers where almost the same as the original numbers suitable with the cams. Chrismo

    1.0 Pistons in the 1.3.

Giving some more info about my mods: I have the oem intake, including airbox. And have a custom made exhause manifold, with I think, a bit too small pipes (28mm inside). If above should be no problem, I truely start to believe the port-grinding I did is the problem! Why is it possible to run...

    1.0 Pistons in the 1.3.

You are right again.....the stroke remains the same, so the volume too. But why is there almost no power gain noticeable in my CG13, with 1.0 pistons, NME (Peter V) cams and a flowed head? I don't get it!

    1.0 Pistons in the 1.3.

because the 1.3 rods STAY inside the CG13 engine this has nothing to do with it.
