I done the ones on my daily because I wanted to get rid of the originals for better ones, If I still had the block connector for the originals I would have put them back in months ago :(

My white Micra has that problem, driver side speaker does a varied amount of nothing when the stereo is playing music, but it does the beeps for the stereo when I turn the ignition off, Also, as a friendly tip, don't get the vibe speakers, they are crap, I have them in my daily..

The one on my orange one was Original too, till I cut the back box off for a aftermarket one which had a rather dramatic end with a kerb and bent the centre section..

The exhaust on my white micra is the original *almost 21 years old* still works fine, lil bit of rust, but as @Agent_Sm1th said, only you know how bad it really is

Of course try cleaning it, but generally the best thing to do is replace it, as on mine, it would cut out when cold, and just loose all go randomly, without warning while driving it.

Ebay for 50 quid, its second hand and was off another Micra before, hour and half trip to pick it up tho, its a Powerflow rear box ;)

You can make anything fit with a cutter and a welder ;) I think most Corsas are slid and clamp ones, so that could make it easier!

The 66 has a Renault engine, but who keeps the original block on a 70s car? o_O All I know about the one I have my eye on is that it has not moved in at least 12 years nor been started, but apart from the passenger wing and bonnet all the other panels are stright

As long as the center bore is big enough, not a VAG expert, they will fit if the center bore on the wheels is bigger, although everyone goes on about getting spigot rings because of wheel wobble, I have 30mm spacers on my rear and have no problem, although if they are smaller they wont fit...

I have not even started looking at steering wheels yet, I'm looking into finishing the body work I started :oops:

Are you actually putting it on show? Because I have thought about it numerous times but the paint in my engine bay is pretty good, plus I cant color match with cheap Halfords paint cause of my color :(

Volvo, always a reliable car, although I was looking more along the Volvo/DAF 66 lines but they are a tad rarer :(
