The way I see it, If for some reason we have to remove the gearbox where I work we always try and do the clutch and release bearing, there would be no point changing the gearbox or getting it Repaired then putting it back on without doing the clutch, Sort of defeats the object.

I would personally go for wrapping, if you try and spray the front end you may end up needing to respray the rest because of paint fade, unless you are not bothered about that, then I would just spray it

Early K11s as far as I am aware do Not have a pollen filter, But I believe all facelift K11s without A/C do have one, all the facelift ones I have seen that have no A/C have had them.

Its cheaper for me to get insurance on my dads 2l Insignia with no named drivers then it is for me on my 1l Micra with my mum as a named driver o_O
