There is a thing some try to reset it ...use the search function buddy. Myself I just take the bulb out - works every time ...lol And - it's only an advisory on the MOT with no light.;)

Don't know about the liners buddy, but that panel that sits under the radiator is what causes the cross member to rot. A real water trap, I just left mine off with no problems at all.....just saying ..your choice.

Main fuses/relays under the bonnet maybe (?)

No buddy, I had similar to your problem, took the maf off ....she coughed a bit then settled down and drove fine for two years like it. Very occasionally she would idle a bit low, but other than that it fixed the lumpy idle and stalling like yours.

Try running her without the MAF plugged in ....see if it makes a difference. If it does..leave it off.

I've posted one with the flexi hose still attached, go to your supermarket and blag a suitable box. The postage is quite cheap as there is no weight in it.....about £12 I think I paid.

Hello again Ihtisham. They do pop up occasionally in the scrapyards, I've seen three in 5 years (!) Most people break them trying to get them off, but if I see one I'll let you know buddy - just don't hold your breath while you wait.....it could be a long wait.

Yup...correct, it has to be the early 1.5s I think that applies to the 1.6 as well ....it all changed when Renault got involved with Nissan.

Yup should return flat, or just showing on the window. I would give the rods and mechanism a bit of a squirt with WD 40 to see what effect that has. If that works, a spray with a silicone oil to really give them a chance.
