My car is now lowered by 35mm, looks loads better, I'm hoping it still has to settle a bit tho cos it still looks a little high at the back. First pic is a before shot and the others are after.

How easy is it to take the tailgate handle off? I know I have to unscrew the numberplate lights etc, but what I wondered is the actual handle just glued on or is it held on my bolts or something from the inside too? I want to take it off to paint it. Also, I was in a scrappy yesterday...

I got Gmax lowering springs from ebay brand new for £67 including delivery. Drops it 35mm, they're not fitted yet tho, getting them fitted on thursday morning. :grinning:

Don't worry mate, I was having a look around under the bonnet this morning and it looks like my car already has the wiring for driving lights. I should be able to just plug them in and they'l work with main beam I think. Thanks anyway, really appreciated. :grinning:

what's the steering wheel like? is it 2 spoke or 3 spoke, I have 2 spoke and am after 3 spoke (non airbag)

my 1.3 slx has central locking, electric windows, rev counter, sun roof, rear headrests, filler cap without a key so basically once I get my bumpers fitted I more or less have a 5 door super s? lol

the rear's won't fit in a 5 door will they? I do already have 40/60 split rear seats tho. I've also been told that the door cards won't fit either, could someone tell me if this is true or not? Thanks

my springs have now arrived so I'll be getting it lowered in the near future. finish modifying my grille which is now really just to paint. get my super s bumpers fitted and front fogs wired up. take off the bump strips colour code the tailgate handle and door handles. going to...

well, some people have said they're driving lights and some people have said they're fog lamps so not entirely sure. I have bought a super s bumper which has the lights already in so I suppose they could be whatever I want them to be.
