It's not the actual lights that I painted, I have some of the nissan headlight protectors on so I marked where i wanted painted just by using electrical tape to mark it out while they were on the car. Then I took them off the car and stuck newspaper over the part I didn't want painted, again...

I got the splitters from my local scrappy. £10 for the both of them. I'll get some better pictures of them in better light with my digi camera, I took those ones with my phone and they're not the best.

Spent all day working on my car yesterday and this is now how it looks. I've added: super s bumpers (still got to wire up the driving lights) laguna splitters - solid one on back and vented one on front headlight covers with the top painted red...

Here's the central locking diagram from my Haynes manual (it's for micra K to T reg) the one on the right is the key to the symbols on the diagram.

I've got the relays and everything on. Just need this fixed now.:grinning: or should I say I want to fix this and if they still don't work I'll wire them completely from scratch. it's worth a go though.

thanks fordy, I'll have a look at that tomorrow. I'm gonna get the bumper fitted this weekend too, so once I get the bumper on it won't be so much hassle carrying it in and out of the house to try and figure out the wiring for the lights lol. Couldn't be bothered taking the light out of the...

they look good, different! Not really my cup of tea though, it's one of those mods I think that looks nice on someone elses car but I wouldn't put it on my own cos if I did I'd end up getting sick of them within a month. Good work tho mate, keep it up :grinning:

after rummaging around under the bonnet I discovered (with help from goldstar - much appreciated mate) that my car already has the wiring for the front bumper driving lights, after checking the wiring diagram in haynes they are indeed driving lights as opposed to fog lights. Anyway I toddled...

It's bright red (flame red)

I didn't fit them myself but Jon's uncle fitted them for us cos he owns his own garage. He only charged us £20 so don't know how much it would cost normally in a garage.

The springs are Gmax, I got them off ebay for around £67
