I bashed my front bumper on passenger side, and now my headlights don't work. The small bulb works, and high beam works, but not the normal headlight bulb. We tested the plug going to the bulb, the power is getting to high beam, and side lights in the headlights - but normal beam bulb is not...

Thanks for the info. Actually - the way we fixed it was to just put a new bolt in the joint of the rods. It was a plastic joint and apparently it tends to go. They work OK, but aren't perfect, tend to 0ver-reach. If they go again I'll get some new rods. Thanks

Ended up replacing the wiper mechanism - apparently this is a common fault on the Micra. He got a replacement kit. My mechanic - who is good - could not get it perfect, so I use slightly smaller blades and they do hit the side of the window sometimes. I just put up with it. Good luck!

Hi What was the sounds you got. My wipers have just died, I can hear the motor turning, and a quiet clunk clunk clunk of something moving, but the blades don't move. Was this the rods? Thanks

Hi Thanks for your help. I was told that it might be accesed by lifting the bumper. I'm very dissapointed by the quality of this Micra. My last one was 14 years old and didn't have a thing wrong with it - this is abuot the 10'th thing to break on this one. Cheers

Found out it was the fuse box hidden under the Right headlight that had a blown fuse.... clever place to hide it

Hi Just found my electrics have gone. The small headlight bulb, license plate bulb (and some interior lights) have gone. Checked the fuses, replaced the sockets, but nothing helps. Can anyone suggest how to deal with this. Thanks T

Hi I opened the door while moving as it wasn't closed, the pressure broke the door handle unit. Now the horazontal, oblong section which contains the window switches won't fit back properly. It sticks out and keeps coming out. Can't find a way to get it to slot back correctly. Anyone...
