i had to 'adjust' the mothers drivers door today using franks method: worked a treat! be careful however, as i done this before on my micra a few years back in a rush and the bottom of my door folded :O !

try your local motor factors mate, exhaust mani gasket costs peanuts, and the exhaust wouldn't be too expensive either. pop in and have a butch at their bosal catalogue.

as title says....for k11 preferably bilstein to match the rears, but any uprated units in tidy nick considered. lower mileage used prefered (yes im a stinge and dont want to buy brand new if i cant help it!) or even if anyone can recommend new that would be great. thanks

expansion tank not essential,mine doesnt have one!leaving the rad cap off is usually enough, but if your still having problems bleeding the system, try pulling of hoses,around the bulkhead etc to ensure there's no air locks and coolant is flowing.and make sure theres plenty of coolant in the system!

the perspex windows...how are they fitted? are they standard glass shape sat in the glass runners or bonded to the seals? are the the rears held on like the standard glass or differently? im assuming the tailgate is still glass, and by full set you mean x4? thanks pal

havent had any experience on micras, but used to have a pair on my mark 2 fez, which made it handle 100% like chickenwaahoo's comment lol. felt a fair bit less boaty but my rear champiro tyres got some premature sideways wear!

sounds about right. if your separating the springs and shocks you'll want spring compressors mind. its fairly straight forward :)

have you recently changed the rear bulb? if you but a twin filament where a single one should be or vice versa that could cause same problem...

give it a bash! no reason it would be unstable if the centre was fibreglassed properly..if it looks gash just throw it in the bin and put the old one back on!it would be a bit of fun, good learning experience if you have done little of this kind of thng before, and will only cost you a few quid...

most of the ones you see on ebay will fit. i think i bought somes for a corsa or nova. but beware the cheepo's...a month so down the line that shiny finishhas started to turn to surface rust!
