£800.00 is a great price for a K11 like that. If I were nearer to you & in the market for another car I'd buy that in a minute. Don't let it go cheap. Good luck with the sale :)

Superb cheers for that :). I got a manual so that should also help. It says in it to disconnect the battery beforehand. Is that really necessary? Sorry for the dumb questions;)

Hello, cheers for the replies :). Nothing happens on flash or high, It's just ok on dip then if I select main or flash nothing happens. I'll have a look & try to figure out the correct type of headlamp bulb & give it a go. Hopefully that's all it is, I don't like the sound of things melting :eek:

Hello all I noticed today that the nearside headlight on my K11 CVT is working ok on dip beam but not on main beam or if the lights are flashed (the off side headlight appear to be working ok).:confused: Is this likely to just be the headlight bulb? If it is the bulb how difficult are they to...

Mine's sometimes a bit awkward. I also remember reading an Autocar magazine 12,000 mile type test when they were new & it mentioned that their CVT was very reluctant to shift into drive in really cold weather & had to be left to warm up for a couple of minutes. Just quirks of having a CVT ;)

About 25+ years ago me & a mate of mine sprayed an 850 Mini with aerosols. Cost a fortune & had a really flat dry looking finish ! It may have been our technique but frankly it looked crap ;)

You should love it & feel smug 'cos you know something all those who don't have K11's don't. That they're so cool, they're sub-zero ;)

I have to say, I too have always wondered why others (& Nissan) didn't continue to use it. I've had small conventional auto's & CVT is definitely better. I also rather like the whiney noise it makes (a mate of mine said it sounds like a Jet :D).

I won't do it unless I have to. I just wondered what would happen if it were knocked in to N on the move. Would I have to stop or just push it back into D, seems I may get away with just pushing it back into D. Nice Cabrio by the way. I didn't know they did one until I was in Malta a few years...

Stick your head in the passenger footwell. It's near the bulge for the wheelarch ;)

Another vote for the 1.3 CVT ;) Great little cars, surprisingly brisk (especially compared to lardy modern hatchbacks :D)
