It's not very modded though. A couple of bits sitting round my house waitin to be fitted... You can enjoy my brabus being there now. Gonna be very annoy when I see someone reverse into it on the forecourt, a I've seen happen a few times!

    Selling up...

Well it's come to pass that I'm selling my K12, before I've even got round to fitting the fast road brakes and lowering springs I bought months ago for it! I had some nice plans, but I had to choose between the Micra and a Smart forfour Brabus. The Brabus hasn't sold after 2 months, and as...

Abnormal tyre wear - alignment checked - No ideas....

They called it a "laser alignment" check, and it included figures for toe in. Stock pressure for unloaded car is 32psi all round, I tend to run 32, or 34 if I'm doing a long motorway run. Camber... I've not got into that, I can only assume it's standard.

Abnormal tyre wear - alignment checked - No ideas....

I live in Herts (Hemel) so yes lots of roundabouts. But this car was previously owned in Ruislip, and the wear existed before we bought it - so far the new tyres are ok, but starting to show evidence of this wear pattern. It's a Brabus edition, so low to the ground and stiff - might that have...

Abnormal tyre wear - alignment checked - No ideas....

(not my K12) Both my front tyres are wearing on the inside corner, quite significantly as if that's the only part of the rubber touching the ground. I've had the alignment checked, and not only was it spot on, the guys at the garage could find nothing loose, missing, or otherwise wrong...

    K12 march micra differences

I was always of the understanding that they are the same. It's likely that different trim levels are available in one model that aren't in the other - different markets and all that. Apparently we Brits just LOVE plain, boring, plastic interiors.

Cat changed, car ok and some pic's!

Apparently is a good word ;) I'm not convinced a cat makes too much difference, once you've changed the rest of the pipework including manifold. It must cause some turbulence but can't see it being hugely noticeable.

Cat changed, car ok and some pic's!

£481.58 for a cat?? My Primera one was.... £30 I think!

    Exhaust!

I've done it before, and I'll do it again - recommend Powerflow. They sorted my Primera out good, and I'll be going to them again in about a month for my K12.

VERY weird noise - any ideas?!

Certainly sounds like the lining coming loose from a silencer or more likely the cat. My Primera made all kinds of weird floppy clangy nasty noises when the cat started to fail, followed by a failure to go past 2,000rpm when it finally collapsed inside itself.

    Tailgate locked??

Yeah I have a similar problem to Tchaaa's mum with my passenger door, where the intelligent key button has lost its rubber protector. When I wash the car and stand anywhere near the passenger door (washing or drying it) the doors keep locking and unlocking! I'll replace the button soon. For...

53 K13 auto 1.2 Cut out Non start, + battery terminal fusable links corroded

I had a similar problem with my 2000 X-reg Primera, I guess it's just succeptible to corrosion being so near the battery. Mine didn't die thank god, but when I the car and gave it a going over at home the corrosion was bad enough that when I moved it, part of the terminal snapped off.

    Lost Property Law

Yeah there is such a law - I don't know it exactly, but basically if you hand in lost property to the police, after a set time (3 months maybe...) it's yours.

Do 08 plates Nissan Note Alloys fit K12 ?

Lololol perhaps you need to dunk them first

    Virus On the forum

Yup AVG sees it - well not this time actually so maybe it's gone. I'll go right ahead and recommend AVG. I pay £50 for 2 years of their complete package, but have used their free anti virus software for a number of years previous to paying this summer. Can't obviously tell you it's working -...

^^^ and that's from a man who didn't mind changing his injectors.

    Replacement Exhaust for 160SR

Yeah SS systems are very customisable in terms of noise output - I saw a Corsa last week that was louder than any other car I've seen on the road. He looked like an idiot - the car seemed otherwise unmodified, so I just floored it and beat him to the junction. His tailpipe was also sticking...

    Micra Demographics

Well I'm 31 now, and had this K12 since about May, when I was 30. My first car was a K10 in 2001 when I was 20. Love them both. The K12 more so as it's a) faster b) a little more refined and c) a bit cheaper to run. Also I'm a more experienced driver, which means I can have more fun on the...

Trouble with power locks on K12

I'd imagine the latch mechanism has failed - changed one on my Smart the other day, it wouldn't let the door close, then started working again but the door registered as open, so I couldn't lock the car and had to drive with the warning. Replaced the latch (£77 and 90 mins) and all is well...
