A good jigsaw with a metal blade will cut through a couple of mils of mild steel fairly easily. You could use a hacksaw but it could take a while :laugh:

I clocked off early today, the decking I was working on was so hot it was scorching my feet. We ended up spraying each other down with a pressure washer - the blast of air and the cold water is undescribably good in this heat :grinning:

I'd say keep it, unless you buy a fairly new car its gonna have problems. Can't you get a pre-mot check done? My mum used to get them done every year - was about £40 quid for a quick check, and let her know about anything expensive that needed to be fixed - if it cost more than the car was worth...

Actually I just wanted the honeycomb plate for rear lighting the numberplate, so I can de-### the car. As a side note, anyone know if ghost plates are still legal? Or did they close that little loop-hole?
