how low are you letting it get before you decide it isn't goin to work? cause on mine it has to get really low, below empty mark on the gauge anyway. it is a complete seperate circuit to the fuel gauge in the car. so the gauge may work but there could be a problem in the light circuit.. it is...

i got no idea but i recently had to pull my box out and swap it..... and yeh the one in the box i was putting back in was bloody tight. i got it the second time around but was using a long handle breaker bar and a pipe over the handle of it... ended up being about a metre long. lol it was a prick.

oh and be careful with this.... i have broken a few breaker bars trying to open these up.. they can be extremely tight... and they arent cheap ****ty ones.... snap-on

i would suggest cleaning the throttle body as well at intervals. use carby clean. seen as how this has kind of turned into a service thing. they get a build up of carbon... you will be surprised hom much better they run after this just not it will be difficult to start after doing this but once...
