yup, the micra doesnt use a negative earth like other cars so you need to ground the black wire to a part of the car body (metal) so that it acts as an earth for the head unit. If the wire will reach to the passenger footwell there is a earth wire up there already, just slacken off the screw...

well on the plus side, you say youve already replaced the outers?, were they new?, if so then if you replace the inner with a new one it shows to any would-be buyer that you dont skimp on repairs and could get you the car sold at nearer what your asking cos they cant knock you down if its all...

it would be a lot easier to just replace the whole driveshaft with a used one...but then you could get the same problem in a few weeks....thats the trouble with used, you dont know how long it will last, but if you dont plan on keeping the car then it will get you going again and probably last...

over all the years ive been driving i have seen some horror smashes, and it seems to be that no matter what the size of the car you are driving it comes down to numerous factors involved. i.e the weather the speed the road conditions, and what else was hit. I mean you can have the safest car...

intervideo DVDcopy is the best program....itlets you copy movies over to ipod, PSP and other formats. Also does it in 3 easy steps so nearly idiot proof (not that im saying you're an idiot mind you lol)

my pc has a thermaltake PSU in it, and one of the TWV gadgets... when my pc is turned off it still uses a constant 10 watts of power!!
