    :D I think it should be possible with a normal micra which is lhd... just put the lhd parts such as dash in and then change the steering rack and I think the braking system is on the other side... should be job which could be possibly done on one weekend

    changing the headgasket is a nice diy job! you just have to be carefull while putting the timing belt back on. what takes the most time is the engine mount :D really tricky screws....

    have you tried to locate it by hearing ;)? there are not so much parts in the engine which are able to make such a noise... hey I have a weird idea which is really unreal, but eventually it is the starter which hits/scraps the flywheel? normally it sounds different... but I mean, why not check it?

    pao (k10) engine running problems

    the top one of the two should go to the linkage at the back on the manifold, where to pipes will connect into one which goes to the dizzy. the lower one should be connected to the manifolds connection just below. this should be right if I remember correct.

    1987 Micra K10 from Germany

    I was on the dyno today to setup the carbs perfectly... 5hours of time spent to get 44kW on the wheel. 19.7% lower then on the engine, that means my engine has arround 53kW at the engine. Yeah 72hp :) that is really nice.

    90% I found the error together with my neighbour who is a mechanic.... it seems that my front engine mount is really lose! I will tighten the screws tomorrow and see if that helps. He has 30years expierence and says the clutch or the gearbox will sound different when broken.
