im not sure but what it seems to me it its a form of creating more fuel pressure by reducing the hose. fuel regulators are quite cheap imo compared to a new engine if you get it wrong

E15S in these being sohc, automatic & air conditioning is what makes is sluggish as all hell. just a quick google search of S-Cargo engine swaps, people seem to just put the E15ET in as its a direct bolt in. probably MSC would be more help as they have a K10 dedicated section

id say you would need the plugs, switches and base plate to do it could always try just swapping the stalks around to see if they fit in the base plate on the opposite side to begin with if it does you could just use it like that i imagine having the headlight switch picture upside down wouldn't...
