So, 15" Almera GTI alloys on, but now it rubs like a beeyatch with any load in the back. I have heard about arch rolling and think it might be the answer... Where would I go to get this done? Is it DIY'able?!

Well, if you want a set of 5 steelies to paint and play about with im selling mine now I have alloys... I think trims though!

I prefer the term roll. More specifically body roll! Its what mine does around corners and its what it will carry on doing until I sort the handling! :-)

Just booked in with Matt Humphris for next Wednesday for 15" Almera GTI alloys and Green Cotton Nano Storm air filter... That gives me a few days to appreciate the Micra as a standard car running on bicycle sized wheels with no mods, before the adventure begins!

Thanks Low Rider... The suspension and handling stuff is already on my mind... I had a chat with Matt Humphris this week and I will be doing a full handlng conversion in January... Cams sound fun too... Im gonna look into that!

Thanks for the replies! As I have said in a few of my posts... Im a noob! I am an IT engineer, but show me a spanner and I s**t myself!! I have arranged a set of 15" alloys, and am going for an air filter and a strut brace first off... After that I am going for a full suspension and shocks...

Timmeh, I have already spoken to Matt and he is quoting me for springs and shocks... Im going to get the full works basically, all done in January after the expensive Chrimbo!! Im actually going over to Humphris on Wednesday to get some alloys fitted... Much better than the standard bicycle...

Im looking at changing these pretty soon... Im going to be lowering the car (obviously!!), but wondered how much difference performance shocks will be over standard ones? I know the standard springs are **ahem** bouncy! Will changing them and leaving the shocks in place firm up the ride or do...
