Almost finished the horn install- just the switch to finish off now (waiting on the postman for that!) Cig lighter posi feed spliced and soldered: Ignition on and feed tested!- we have lift off! Wiring insulated and neatened up: And the engine bay wiring neatened up:

So- not much of a grill update, but just for you Clodo; Grill has now been filler primered- will be flatting it back and hitting it with more primer again tomorrow:

Damn!- was just gonna say I wanted the dash pod! Any pics of the plate recess?...

Turns out the bridge connector isn't going to work- not enough space behind the dash fascia to store the wiring & keep it all connected properly...... So with a heavy heart I'm gonna have to break out the soldering iron and do this properly *sigh*

...and done some more work on the wiring for the horn. Was going to use a metal toggle switch, but was a little too big for the dash blank, so I fitted a smaller toggle switch... Which I've changed my mind on- so just waiting for the postman to bring me a push switch; Made a bridge...

Finally got round to replacing the knackered battery... Turned out I had a genuine vauxhall Corsa B/C battery fitted, which has gotta be roughly 10years old- so no wonder it was knackered!

Thought about using that bit- but it currently houses my immobiliser pad (gonna rip that out when I sort a decent alarm system out for the car)

Where was the rocker switch from?- does it sit flush to the blank you've fitted it to?... Need something similar for my awooogah horn setup...

Is the rocker switch for your fogs?...

The 01-03 midpipe has no cat in it, so it might be a tad shorter but we'd be talking mm's... Had the exact same set up on my old super s, so should fit up fine :-)

Recycled a bracket from one of those daft exhaust whistles... For this: And made up an earth strap: Need to acquire a nice switch, and an inline fuse so I can make up the feed wire and switch, but that'll have to wait a couple of days now. No further on with the centre section due to...

Was wondering about the lense caps myself... Quite fancy a set

Was hoping to get my midpipes swapped over today, but 20years worth of rust coupled with an inability to get the car high enough off the ground, soon put a stop to that... ...did however, adjust my panhard rod properly- been meaning to do that for weeks so feels good to finally sort it out...

...so, brace re-painted :-)
