I was gonna say, ive changed the fromt shocks on an old escort, many moons ago, I found copious amounts of wd40 and a lumphammer losened up the nuts, although I was replacing those too, is it quite a high torque rate they need to be re-set at? Last time I was going by tighter is better :p

Lol, it was the thought of changing springs on the front that really put me off, have heard that you can use g clamps but until I have seen it done id probably end up with a spring in the face hehehe

Hi guy's just wondering if anyone with working knowledge of the suspension might fancy earning some beer tokens. Ive got the new springs, but lack the confidence to crack on, fearing really messing it up. So if any kind soul in lichfield/brum kinda area fancies tutoring a dunce for an afternoon...

sorry I forgot to update on the solution, when I originally changed the bulbs, I did it all in one go, Then I thought I'd try it again with fresh bulbs again but this time replace them one at a time, starting with the driver-side rear top to bottom, and I only had to change the top 2...

Hi Guy's, right in my kitchen awaiting a rebuild I've got a set of pulsar calipers w disks and pads, but my question of that day is.... When I fit these calipers etc, will I still be able to fit ABS (and have it work?) for Ideally I would like to have both, but if i have to choose, I will :D

ye man, erm, i luckily and unfortunately work on the weekends, but mainly only the friday + saturday, so sundays are free, as are most of the rest of the week :D

cheers tim ahhh thats what they meant by a 1mm washer? I thought they meant on the attaching bolts and such, right will get onto that as well then, also, the retaining clips for the pads, are they pretty universal? the ones on the calipers i got off ebay are a bit rusty, and one looks out of...

mate i spent all night last night trying to find a good place for a set of spings & shocks(literally), go google type in "micra lowering coilover" (but dont put the bunny ears in google) and trawl through the first 25 pages, you'll find about 30(?) different website all selling the same stuff...
