Right, so compressor on the spring compress untill pressure is off top mount remove top mount then, unwind compressor so spring is under no more pressure? With the rears, jack up an support rear axle, do I have to remove the rear shocks in order to lower the axle enough to release the spring...

Ordered some spring compressors off ebay. So if im gonna do this myself... How do I go about releasing the springs from the mounts on the strut? Is it a case of a couple of nuts or is it a wee bit more tricky than that?
