I was surprised how much of a difference it has made. The old suspension didn't seemingly have anything too wrong with it but when you consider everything had a small ammount of play or bushings that had become bound up it definitely effects the ride quality..

Wide open throttle tests are good since the ecu does not use the 02 sensor signal input in most cars and uses the maximum fuel/air mixture which is a quick and dirty way to tell if the 02 sensors are working...

The clutch is always the number 1 suspect of gear engagement issues. The gearbox in the micra is pretty tough in my experience...

I always just buy the cheapo brembo or pagids for most customer cars and they never complain. Known a lot of the issues with poor brake pedal feel on the K12 is usually a mixture of poorly serviced slide pins on the front callipers and poorly adjusted rear drums on most. That and nobody ever...

I'm not sure about the fitment, I did swap some 04 model year seats into a 2010 model year k12 although they were both three door. As for insurance, depends on your insurer - if in doubt check! Don't want you to get caught out, they are slippery folk
