No they won't fit, a Micra is 100 mm PCD as far as I'm aware.

I only bought it for the 50k mile engine at first, now it seems a shame to break it as everything on it seems to work, and its growing on me :) but if I can't get a cheap repair done it may still end up being broken up. What does the axle weigh? and do you think it could be posted? Thanks

The axle shows no obvious signs of where it has bent, I'm not going to take it off just yet, I need to get a quote for getting the side repaired, the B-pillar has been pushed in about an inch. Anyone localish to me do a bit of Panel-beating? or anyone have a cheap axle going spare? Thanks

I thought it was from contamination from the combustion of the fuel? and regular oil changes prevent those contaminates from being deposited onto the surfaces inside the engine.

I've heard conflicting stories regarding flushing oil, some say it isn't goog for your engine, judging by the colour in the cam cover mine looks like it would benefit from a clean however,

So let's get this straight. It started and ran fine, then you changed the cam timing and it doesn't run now! I wonder what it could be???????????????????? could it be the change of cam-timing by any chance?

It's a bit rough to be honest, looks like they did a fair bit more damaged to it at the salvage yard, the roof looks like they've dragged the forks of the fork lift across the back bit. I could just sit in it on a hot summers day with the air-con on :o

You haven't smashed your car up since have you? I've just bought one with a new headlight connector on and the old melted one discarded in the engine bay.

I don't think the weight of it all is a big issue, 15kg maybe? (only a guess) a few hp loss when the air con is on maybe.

Guessing that with the compressor removed you need a shorter belt and different tensioner system?
