Hey guys, My autochoke seems to be refusing to work from cold for some reason... The car will start fine, but just wont rev until it warms up... Any ideas on what to look for first? I'm reluctant to convert to a manual choke as that'd upset the originality of the car... Thanks Stu.

Someone post up on that thread and tell him to get a new fuel filter on there! Mine was nearly new, but I had to replace it cos' it used to cut out and would either restart immediately or be a pig!!!

Hey guys, I hate to keep posting noob style questions here, but I've never dealt with a K10 before. For some reason, today, my car came to a stop without any sign of restarting, so out of boredom waiting for Mum with the other car, I thought I'd change the fuel filter (For the 3rd time!)...

Replaced the switch with great sucsess. Still no oil light though :(

There's a constant drip from the area of my OPS when the engine is running and I'm wondering if fitting a new switch will remedy the situation or whether I've blown the head gasket or something? It's pure engine oil that's coming from the area dripping onto the exhaust. Stu.

As above, but it holds it back from top gear so you can rally about a bit without waiting for it to change back into third.

My guess from what you're saying is that the new version of an Auto Choke isn't kicking in. Try another CTS if you can find one, whilst also flushing through all the coolant with fresh 30/70 Antifreeze and water. It's coming up to winter so it's the perfect time to do it. Is there an engine...

Mate, someone's had enough of the AutoBox, it probably broke. They sold it to you after getting a manual fitted quickly. The light coming on would indicate a fault, even though you know there isn't one cos' you know what gear you're in and have ultimate control. Now, if it's bothering you...

I'm looking again... And there's a bit of grille on mine that runs under the headlights... I'm guessing that the facelift headlights compensate for this...

I think the 1.4SE+ is a K12 model. All K11's were 1.0-1.3 I believe. It's probably a foreign seller trying to fit as many cars as he can in one advert!

Craig, don't be such a wuss. Seriously, I was "Just driving cars" until I realised I had to have some understanding of them as well. I get a manual for every car I buy, whether the manual be from eBay, brand new or from a charity shop, I always get one. I tried fitting something completely...
