Just saw a Micra .10 Super' parked up near me. It wasn't a 'Super S', but had a rear spoiler and the nice interior, and also body graphics. It's covered in that green algae stuff with pink furry dice in the mirror and is still taxed so still on the road. ;) What spec were these?

I'd check the belt timing marks again just in case. ;) Also check the ignition timing anyway, it's part of the changing belt process. :)

Recently took out the seats/carpet/etc etc to wet vac, etc and found all the loom was present for the centre digital clock and dashboard (not spliced). Also, lot of 'factory' dust, so if it was 'transplanted', it wasn't recent. Is it possible these were an option on the SLX or the loom is...

You can only set the belt by 'teeth' so it'll run terribly if it's one tooth out (about 5 degrees). You might want to set ignition timing and make sure you have all the vacuum hoses still in place.

And I want a non-red two door. However, most I see are 1.0 four speeds - I have a few old Japanese cars (I love them), and do a lot of motorway travelling (driving to my job 130 miles away! Yay!) and would stick to the five speed. Is it possible to straight swap the 5 speed onto a 1.0 engine...
