yep had same problem with my primera. the 1 way valve on the pipe had split

try ringing local motor factors also

check the fuses as my brother did this on my n14 sunny and the rear lights and dash were on same fuse

hello and welcome, the micra has a chain instead of a belt and will on average last around 200,000 miles. rattle on start-up is quite a common thing with the chain and should stop after running for a few seconds and since you havent mentioned a rattle im guessing yours should be ok. mind you...

try a local scrappy for a hub. will be quite a lot cheaper and should be plenty around
