    Lightened Flywheel Drivability

Hey All I'm planning on putting a lightened 1.0l flywheel into my car. The lightening and installation is straight forward and has been covered loads, but... For anyone who has done it, how badly has it affected day to day drivability? So stalling, or dodgy gear changes and the like?

Exhaust system (PRE FACE LIFT) - URGENT HELP REQUIRED

Other than rusted studs / bolts swapping out the entire exhaust system is no big deal. The new exhaust system (with 1 cat) is a straight swap for the old system. I've done it a couple of times now.

Exhaust system (PRE FACE LIFT) - URGENT HELP REQUIRED

The issue might be is the newer models don't have 2 cats anymore. They just have a bigger cat straight from the manifold, and don't have the one from the centre pipe. One on the left shows the 'newer' version, the right is a older version...

Exhaust system (PRE FACE LIFT) - URGENT HELP REQUIRED

Hey! Exhaust system should be from the engine to the back: - Exhaust Manifold - 1st Cat - Downpipe / Frontpipe - 2nd Cat - Centre Pipe - Rear Silencer In the picture, on the right is the Exhaust Manifold and 1st Cat...

    Engine Fell Out...

... kinda. The bolt connecting the rear engine mount to the gear box bell housing completely sheared today! Entire engine then slumped down 6 inches ish.... Am I being dense, or is there actually only one bolt mounting the engine on the rear-passenger side of the engine bay???

I caught the Micra Bug (any tips for a beginner)

No worries mate. Caught the same bug a couple of years ago. Depends on how deep you wanna go. You can literally start with an airbox swap to a 2litre turbo engine swap with everything in between :D One thing to note is if you are Auzzy based you might be a better position to locate some stuff...

I caught the Micra Bug (any tips for a beginner)

Hi! There great little engines as they are is so much cross-compatibility with engines of the same era. Some straight swaps: - An airbox from a GA16DE engine slots straight on and gives a small performance boost, also makes it sound throatier when accelerating. - Thottle body from a GA15DE...

    QG15DE Throttle Body

Cheers both. Figured as much. Finding a ga15de is proving to be a pain. APPARENTLY there are **** load in Russia for cheap (~£35), but you can't import anything from Russia unless you are an actual business. Some Russian law... Think I will just have to try and get lucky through Ebay or pay...

    QG15DE Throttle Body

Hi! Just want to double check, and I am pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but the QG15DE is not a direct fit to a Micra right? The QG15DE engine replaces the GA15DE engine, but I'm sure this doesn't mean individual components are swappable. Cheers Phil

what did you do to your micra today ?

Honestly just super lucky on Ebay. I check it every couple of days just in case. The guys K11 finally rusted out, so he was just getting shot of everything. For the manifold you can have some luck with Yahoo Japan. Honestly more likely to get it from their or Austrailia.

what did you do to your micra today ?

Wish I could. Will likely keep the exhaust manifold for my next k11 when Nissy finally goes.... then pass it down like a family heirloom:D

what did you do to your micra today ?

I got very lucky and found a performance exhaust manifold for £30. Its from the Cube Z10 Alpha, only released in Japan around 2000 I think so super super rare!!! That with the Almera airbox and an exhuast system off a 1.0 litre model, Nissandra is sounding and feeling very zoomy :D For...

Picked Up A New Exhaust Manifold...... Then My Car Brokedown :(

Yeah. Cleaned contacts etc. Checked for sparks by putting plugs on the engine cover and ticking her over. Nothing happened. Havent dug through fuses or anything yet. Dizzys are proving hard to get! Unless i pay £110ish for a new one.

Picked Up A New Exhaust Manifold...... Then My Car Brokedown :(

Cheers Matt! After digging through the forums it, it does seem like the distributor is a known issue on these cars. Nissy has also struggled to start after being left outside on rainy nights which seems to point to distributor as well. I will take broscience at the moment, which fuse...

Picked Up A New Exhaust Manifold...... Then My Car Brokedown :(

Hi All So was triumphantly driving home after picking up an exhaust manifold from a Cube Z10 Alpha, then lost all power in the car. I will be diagnosing this weekend, but nothing is immediately obvious. What are the common issues it could be? So far I am thinking - Fuel Pump - Coils - Dizzy...

    1.5 ALMERA 2003 AIRBOX ON A K11 MICRA

It took me ages to find one. They go super quick on ebay apparently. Found one on this site. I think it is a place for scrappys across europe to sell their stock. So mine came from lithuania in the end!!! https://shop.euroimpex.lt/en/dalys/4/engine-and-gearbox-parts/capacity:2200%3Bbrand:27/1
