if you are using the older hs 1.3/4 inch su with the seperate fuel bowl you can adjust it so its level...and yes you should be able to move the piston up from the air filter side. they say that you shouldn,t lean an su past 40deg

you will need to thin the needle down a bit its running to lean.. i do this by spinning the needle in a drill and use fine sand paper... start working the needle about 15mm down from the point were it fits into the piston...only take off a little at a time

Admitedly the gearbox sounds smooth as, it's even got a nice quiet whistle to it but something is not right somewhere. youve been conned mate it should be very quite with no noise at all its knackered send it back through there front window...

i can do it for £60 inc p&p but i will need your flywheel or at least a spare one. the ones ive machined before i bolt them to the crank and hold the hole lot in the lathe,this way you keep it balanced...

I have tried one of these cams on a roadcar and it made no differenst whatso ever to the performance it only made the tickover abit lumpy,,,i think they need to up the deration spec to around 275 or more....

Yes i can make an adapter so you can fit the su carb,the price is £100 because i have to make up 2 plates and a 90 deg steel bend,,or better still i can make a complete inlet manifold to take an su which would be a better performer than using just the standard inlet..price for the inlet would be...

they were vauxhall rim then,,,i use vx rim on my micra,sometime there is a steel ring inside the rim that you can knock out with a hammer or if not just die grind it bigger until it slide over the hub,,,i do

you need a valva spring compresser...it ok taking them out that way by tapping a socket over the top,,,,,,,but no way do you want to put them in without the proper tool....or else if you dont get them back in and seated proply you could be rebuilding you engine again...

why bother with this idear and the time and money for only 25+bhp when a different inlet manifold un carb and 4 branch exhaust manifold setup would get you this at a fraction of the cost

ive seen a 1.75 inch su carb bolt onto a s/c and it worked fine.... figaro does seem a better convertion though
