you can swap the pins to get the engine to run but youd probly have to wire in the speedo i dont know how you would do that.. my guess is you would need the electric spedo drive, tarce the wiring to the ecu on yours so you know where it goes to, then do the same from the ecu to the speedo pins...

dont take max flowers writups seriously.. iv seen cars details change from paragraph to paragraph i remember a writeup ona mustang the pick showed a V8 then in the writeup it was a v6 then in the tech box it was a straight six 8Valve!! it is one of the worst magazines only just above carp...

with a janspeed manifold cat back exhuast and a panal filter you would be looking around 95BHP so westcoast would be an easy win.. but al this talk about beating other cars is abit silly.. unless you race at a controlled event like santapod then id take it all with a pinch of salt. in my blue...

wont work dude pre facelift ecu's have a different pin out setup to facelift nats ecus.. and the CGA3 ECU is different again..

the only K11 that had a different Gearbox was the pre facelift 1.0 your facelift 1.0 should have the same box as the 1.3's so all you need is a 1.3 engine and ECU..
