if your gonna spend loads on a conversion go for a 2.0 16v. why mess about tuning the engine after spending a few grand getting it in there. you dont wanna spend loads and then realise that the power doesnt satisfy you at the end of it.

look behind the bumper for the original wiring, shouldnt be hard to find as the super s had them as standard there driving lights not fog lights and they will only come on with your full beam.
