Sorry to hear it's come to this.. Could you not take it somewhere more reliable to be finished off, or is money an issue? Cuz it ain't gonna be worth that much the state it's in?
Consider fitting calipers and discs from one of nissans GA16 engine cars (primera/almera..), i imagine it'd be cheaper and should give you enough more braking feel..
Yeah, to be fair, they were damn dark and you could only just see the tail lights in the daytime. I got away with it for a year or so, didn't see the point contesting, it gave me an excuse to get the LED's!
The polo's bumper looks kinda impul-like, should look good if you can fit it properly :)
As said, if you got the wheels (and they fit?) all you really need to spend a lot on are coilovers and the cage, expecially if your mate owns a bodyshop!
I need to find me a bodyshop owner to befriend...
bonnet raisers shouldn't be dangerous when fitted properly, leave them on and see what the MOT man says..
I'd do the same with the exhaust tbh, if it passes the MOT there shouldn't be a problem.
windows tints, debadge and bumpstrip, then lower and play with the engine :)
There's a guide on here for modifying the wiper motor to sit horizontally, alternatively the second facelifts had horizontal wipers, so you could fit a motor from them.
