you mean buy a new throttle body ? they're quite pricey mate. if you resolder the 6 points and its still doing it then dont junk the tb as this is obviously not the problem. i have a similar problem and another member on here too. he said tb resolder cured his. i'm just trying to find the time...

tbh mate there aint many si's about. i tried finding one after the insurance wrote ours off and there was 1 on ebay and 1 on the autotrader but both were too far away.

i always thought the coil pack engines suffered maf problems and if the car was pre 2000 then it was resolder jobbie ?

the leads dont look right mate. they're missing the plug hole seals. if you have a look at the maxi micra blog it shows how you can make your own leads and maybe you cus use the guide to put your old seals on the new leads. i'd be a little worried about damp getting in mate. just a thought. (Y)

does a sticker increase the value of the car? does it make the car more appealing to car thiefs? in the event of a repair will it cost the insurance more to fix? i'm guessing no but being covered for decorative items, i;e scoops seems fair. scoops will cost more to replace than a stock bumper...

so i got the other two wheels finished today. overall i'm happy. the blue k11 facelift was a let down. engine was sweet, front panel near mint, sills were original with no rust at all. but the car had been rattle canned from the front doors back. gutted. :down: ignor next doors alfa.

i've ever known it with the micra but i also think there is some ford yank model that has a similar problem. its an easy ish fix, well i hope as i'm doing mine soon. if you look at the back of the car the wheels will sit like............. / / . lol, but there is something on micra.au...
