I presume FTW is meant to be read backwards? ???? What's wrong with cable ties?! If they can survive one of or the roughest event the car will ever do.... Only uploaded a few pics last night so here some are. Before starting to remove everything [though a few carpets had gone]...

As I've mentioned before in my other thread [and Superuno / Matt, aka my fiance, has also mentioned in places], I have a 1.0 Nissan Micra. It was originally bought to do The Preston, a very rough event, but having survived relatively intact I have decided to build it into an Enduro Car...

Well once again, it's been ages since I posted here! The green Micra, the 1.3 Super S, is still being used as an every day car and the occasional event [next one 7th June, a gymkhana]. The red Micra has completely changed, and will start a new topic for that later and put pics on tonight!

Re Enduros - some events do run a beginners / intro class where cars can [typically] compete on the day route but not on the night route. Chelmsford MC are running an enduro in March, Saturday 28th, with said class so you would complete 180 miles [day route] to give you a good taste of what the...

Well it was a mega event! Never done anything like it but loved it. And both Micras finished :D

I am getting 40mpg commuting - sometimes traffic is fine and it's 70 most of the way [with a couple of 40 / 50 areas] and other times it's crawling along.

Pete - PM me please. Huddersfield is a long long way from here - as first post says, really needs to be within M25 area, if not at least needs to be Southern way.... Also, the car only needs MOT / tax til end Dec and doesn't need to be tidy - it is going to be used and abused for a one off...

As above, 3 door K11 Micra wanted, pref 1.3 but 1.0 ok - within M25 area if possible. Not worried about dents / scrapes / scratches / rust bubbles etc - just needs to be taxed and MOTed til the end of December and running.

Still think there's a problem with the ignition switch ie that turning the radio on and off, but changed dizzy cap and rotor arm a couple of weeks ago and since then it's started fine every time....touch wood it continues!

woohoo, car passed it's MOT today! :) Big relief after the £hundreds spent last year on it's MOT [was borderline economical to repair it then]. Admittedly it's better looked after now but still :love:

Just back from a week in Ibiza and spotted quite a few - but why did they all have their front number plates bent?! All were white bar one.....
