It was the EACS yesterday, the last round of the Endurance Road Rally Championship. I needed to finish to get 2nd in class in the championship.... I finished 3rd in class and 17th overall, which was enough to secure 2nd in class in the championship by 9 points or so, 5 points behind the class...

Done a few events since I last posted, including getting a 2nd in class on an Autosolo in September [my best Autosolo result to date and really had to work for it!] and my first time in the woods on the Exmoor Endurance Rally in the middle of October. I finished that event 3rd in class and 15th...

Wow what a weekend! (Y) So, our event....what a mix of emotions! Gutted, happy, worried car was broken, over the moon, etc!! It was my first Endurance driving, the car has just been finished [thanks Matt!] and it was all a bit of an unknown. I am really happy with our result, 2nd in class and...

Did a sprint in the car on Sunday, finished 0.05 secs off 3rd in class....frustrating! Was another K11 Micra. Class finished 1st 205 Rallye, 2nd Rover 214, 3rd K11 Micra, 4th K11 Micra [me], 5th Clan Crusader, 6th Corsa. Was v close between 1st / 2nd, 3rd / 4th and 5th / 6th - the other Micra...

Did an Autosolo yesterday and had a good result (Y) 3rd in class and 19th overall, prob best I've ever had the car running. Played around with the new suspension a bit and the car and I both had a good day which always helps! Do have some pics but for now a couple of videos...

Holds up well! Could have been it jumping out of gear? Car did that when he drove it. Doing an Autosolo this weekend in the red Micra.

Yeah I remember it and def know who you mean! He drove my old standard / everyday Micra.

I know a few Darrens from competing.....drop me a PM if you want to be more specific about who he is, rather than posting in an open forum! :) I do know a Darren who is from very near Hastings and double drove my old Micra at an autotest once.

I will clear it out now, sorry! Finished The Drystone last night / this morning, just tired now.....!

Managed to get an entry on The Drystone in just over a week, another new event and new nav for me, looking forward to it :) Not done many events in this car recently, a few autotests [including a class win] and that's been about it.

I have Renault 5 GT wheels on my rally Micra - there are some pics on my thread in the K11 in Motorsport section. I like them! :)

For anybody interested, I am sprinting at Crystal Palace next Sunday 30th and my car will be displayed on the 7oaks club stand on the Monday. It's a two day sprint event at Crystal Palace with a mixture of modern and historic cars with lots for the family, including Roary the Racing Car making...

I've heard the lanes etc are fantastic but heard from a few people it helps if you are Welsh, that's why I said I would have to judge for myself!! PM me re Bagger as done it and not 100% what you mean.....!!

LOL. Would like to at some point, know some who do, few things I've heard aren't so encouraging but should see it for myself really! Would've done the Welsh Enduro but it's not running again this year....

Not much - engine has to be standard, under 1400cc and non turbo [2000cc non turbo diesel]. Suspension has to be as original design but can be upgraded [hence us picking up some Spax from Matt Humphris last week...!].

Oh well if you vaguely know it that's ok then.....!! :p Yeah Bagger is def good, different challenge to The Preston though. I've not done any rallying in Wales though Matt aka Superuno has.
