I've never liked the wetness of Waxoyl. It's good for quick application but I've seen it pick up a lot of crap from the roads like grass and stones. If you have the time and the tools, something like Epoxy Mastic is probably the best bet, but you'll want to take off the rear beam for access.

I've asked about a few local places and it seems to be anywhere between £800-1200 depending on the paint and whether you're keeping the same colour or changing entirely.

That's a good price for a CG13 but more than I want to pay for a car I'll be replacing soon. Thanks anyway man.

I would actually do this to be totally honest, especially if it's not that far.

If it's just the clear plastic front part, then that can be replaced with the same part from any cluster. I have a non-tacho shield at home that fits a tacho cluster.

I've been there looking for interior parts before, and people have left doors and boots open so the insides get wet and ruined :(

I wasn't there, but @Jamie Sykes was. He mentioned some chrome handles for his 5-door, but someone had taken the rear ones so he couldn't :p

Hi Mark, I actually managed to get a set of these a few months back, from Harry Bucklands of all places :) I'll be heading there on Tuesday probably to get some more bits and pieces.

Vinyl spray dye. Keeps the original texture and bonds with the plastic so shouldn't budge if applied correctly.
