just like tesco says 'every little helps' I use ngk platinums and there pretty good and quite cheap and have never faulted me. Ive used iridiun plugs on my old primera/200sx and civics and there also good. depends on your budget really (Y)

Speaking from experience from owning both id say the later only handles better due to its alloy/tyre combination in standard form. The earlier gt allways felt a bit quicker tho probably due to being slightly lighter.
