Good tip there, I have a stereo that plays memory cards and USB sticks, but because it's black and has a tiny display it looks standard so never gets any attention. Not great for the street cred, but it's better than buying a new window.

I've got a snap off steering wheel on my current motor, £40 for the snap off and £30 for the boss, I had the steering wheel lying around doing nothing so that was free. Try and steel a car with no wheel.

Buy yourself a cheap car to drive around during this project. They always end up taking longer than you want them to. I think someone already did this conversion but without needing an ECU (carb onversion using the MA dizzy iirc) search it.

I've been offered a low mileage retro ride for a very good price. Sadly not jap. If it turns out to be a turd I'll PM you. Thanks for all the help.

Has it got tax on it atm? I'd be very interested in coming to see/pick it up tomorrow if possible. If it isn't taxed would you be able to tax it at my cost?

Right, got a bit of money together now, not a massive amount just yet but hopefully enough to buy an ok micra. Would prefer a K11 but suspect I'll be looking at K10s on my current budget. Must have an MOT, at least a couple of months. Mileage under 90k please :D What's out there? Thanks

Seems that way, I always give mine a couple of degrees advance. The fuel economy doesn't get that bad on a 1 litre.

Thanks, If I can't find a K11 for the right price I may consider it. The K10 was more fun for modifying but prefer the K11 for comfort.

Common cathode or bi directional anode flux capacitor? The common cathode powers up quicker but provides less power :p

My POS ford is slowly dying so I am trying to save enough money for an auto K11. I'm always stuck in traffic in town so fed up of using my left foot. I know autos suck the joy out of driving but I don't get any of that anymore anyway. Don't care about engine size, mileage under 80k please...
