    Anyone got a Motorcycle License?

In london they are practical. How much is an all zone yearly pass? How much does it cost/how long does it take to get to work/college/wherever? My mum said she'd never let me have a bike whilst I lived under her roof, she ended up buying me my first scoot when I was 16! It was the cheapest...

    Anyone got a Motorcycle License?

It is addictive to whip the throttle open and suddenly be doing stupid speeds but if you've got some self control and the skills you should generally be ok on a bike. Treat every cager like the idiot they are.

    Hypermiling a K10

it's considered being out of control of your vehicle and is dangerous. I'd advise you don't do it.

    Anyone got a Motorcycle License?

Yeah ended up in hospital a couple of times, nothing serious. Tore the tendons in my left wrist once and haven't ridden for a while. Rebuilt the bike and my arm now so should be on the road come Wednesday.

    Anyone got a Motorcycle License?

Yes Easy enough but it seems to change every year at the minute. Get it done as soon as possible. A Yamaha FZ6-N running about 97/98bhp. CBR125?! hahahaha yes very pretty but slow. Get a CB125 for practicality rather than a CBR. If you want the racey good looks then get an Aprillia...

    my first speeding fine... GRR

80fines? I don't believe you. Police vehicles don't need to use lights and sirens whilst travelling in excess of a speed limit. Often the vans will travel faster back to the nick quickly if they are conveying a prisoner to the cells. I think PACE (84) requires a prisoner be conveyed as...

    my first speeding fine... GRR

Steve, ACPO guidelines state 10% + 1 mph so 56 would be it in that case. But they are guidelines only, force policy probably forced the particular officers hand. Either that or the officer in question was in a bad mood or something about Antony's car that got his back up. Either way he was...

Speeding, police technology, how screwed am i?

it's 10% plus one and it's not manditory, if they were in a bad mood they can do you at 1mph over, although I'd love to see that stand in court. No ANPR isn't whats used to record your VRM, that's his eyes, his collegues eyes or a camera if he had one. Theoretically were not meant to disclose...

    PistonHeads.com: Vauxhall Axes BTCC Entry

It's now just a big club meet, which isn't the end of the world but just a sad day for road car racing.

New owner and already dead car

If its a K11 and he say's the cambelt has snapped then he needs his head seeing to. They are a chain and are quite rare to give out. How many miles had the car done?

    Glanza Crash Photos

Looks like strut brace might have helped in this instance transfering load to the left side of the car before it got to the bulkhead. Glad you're ok mate.

My car is an ST ;)

hahaha, soooo buying march bits paid off then! I thought people could only tell by the grill not by the march mirrors and tail lights :P

    OMG Arnold's in hospital!

What do you mean? If traffic came out then yeah they'll have probably taken some pics, it'll no doubt be on CCTV, the Highways agency will probably have taken pics (to estimate the damage to the barrier)... They'll not offer the images straight away and I'd guess whatever they do take would only...

your favorite japanese car of all time!

The current Mrs Pete has given me a warning. She currently drives a Jazz (like she stole it), in a few years (when were married and have moved to a slightly bigger house than either of us have got) she wants a fast Japanese car, I showed her a few and she's not overly keen on the R33 or earlier...
