Well i fitted my Almera box yesterday which you can find full details on in my blog :) Quick question and sorry to hijack but my next performance mod will likely be a cat back exhaust system, will i need to upgrade the fuel jets to stop it running lean? Or is there anything else i can do?

They sound good without the airboxes or drilled but as soon as you start drilling holes the whole idea of having an airbox goes out the wondow as it looses its properties. The air coming through the intake is now going to be floating in and out all of those holes meaning there'll be bugger all...

It didn't seem to want to turn much when i tried, got a pipe in the bottom aswell as ones in the top keeping it sort of upright. Regarding spacers it's best not to go too wide or you put too much stress on bearings.

Well my breather filter came so i changed my airbox today to the larger Almera one. Went reasonably well to be fair, although i have had a poke around a few times before. Took off the Micra and got some carb cleaner in the throttle body, then went to put the Almera one on but forgot the carbon...

Well ive got an Almera box but no one is answering me as to wether or not ive got the right one. It looks exactly like the one i should have but the filter inside is rectangle, whereas the 1.6 n15 filters on ebay look more square...

Bump, want to order a filter tonight. Lowering is ont he back burner for now as its boring me. Don't want to cut springs as ive been put off the idea, especially as the new bolt for the corsa shocks doesnt even fit properly and you have to over tighten it.

Right cant buy the springs, just rang Matt Humphries up and the price of the 50mm springs is over £200 and im not paying that. I told him on the price list it said £157 and he said the prices have been updates March 2012. One problem after another.
