Thanks, im not trying to make it into a speed machine as such, im only 18 so cant afford to cover a lot of mods anyway. Just didnt know if it would run too lean and damage the engine in any way. Is there a fuel regulator or something that will compensate for it somewhat?

Sorry for the bump and double post but can anyone tell me if ill need fuel upgrades if i get the peter lloyd system seeing as ive got the ga16 airbox with k&n air filter?

I used to think that also, they usually see it as the main driver will be using it less, as more experienced drivers will be using it also. If that makes sense? Trust me, i think each parent brought it down by about a grand for me!

Im only 18 with no years ncb and mine was £1780 TPFT with Elephant.co.uk. Theyve got an online thign you can use and get discount for. Make sure you put your parents on as named drives, brings it down considerably. I put im only gonna be doing about 4k miles a year and its parked on a driveway...

Cheers, is it easy to workout how to fit them? Trickiest thing ive done is change the airbox haha!

Clamps as on those ones with the screw on them that ive just completely forgotten the name of? (like on the aibox over the TB)

Mine sounds nothing like that doesnt bounce hardly at all the revs just sort of stop and you feel the car not accelerating

Mines 7200 i think and youll know if you're near it cause it starts to get pretty noisy past 6k. Power seems to drop off after about 6/6.2k anyway

oh im sure the people that fitted it in this thread said they needed a new gasket?

Sorry for the bump but thinking about getting a Peter Lloyd catback system soon. Couple of questions.. Is it reasonably easy to fit? Just old one off, new gasket from back of first cat, then new system on and bobs your uncle? Where can i pick up one of these gaskets? Also will i need any fuel...

Doesnt tell you the offset so you wont know, doesn't even say how wide they are only the width of the tyres.

I agree mate, when i looked back at the photos i cringed at the arch gap a bit. Still wont be fresh though got scuffs, dents and rust dotted about all over. Just wanted the sticker cause of stance nation and its yellow :)

ive got the matiz setup (minus the m10 bolts) but cant be bothered because near enough everything i do goes wrong and i have the memory of a goldfish so ill mess it up :(

Cleaned an area to put a sticker on and ended up cleaning the whole car. But because its me everything goes wrong. There were some black dots where i wanted to put the sticker ended up taking a scotch brite to it, bad move just scuffed up the paint so had to T-cut it back down. Also the end off...

I thought it was a bit weird they were screws, any reason they arent proper bolts? Edit: and is it just me or is the gasket made out of rubber? Looked for one on ebay and it looked that way, surely it'd just melt?!
