    Part number sec440

No need for them, it won’t be a MOT fail either. It reduces chances of brake fade as the brakes will cool better.

    noisy brake discs

Is the noise there only when you press the brakes or all the time? If only when you press the brakes, then a bit of cooper slip/grease on the back, and slider parts of the pads will solve it. If all the time then it is more likely a wheel bearing.

    Juddering and overheating

It must be leaking somewhere then! Get it warm and see where it is leaking from. Cardboard under the engine bay is a useful to spot where drips are coming from but loosing this amount will be more than a drip!

Bike throttle bodies inlet length? CGA3

I don't profess to understand all of this, but Dave Walker is a guru of mapping, so this is worth a read : https://www.emeraldm3d.com/articles/cat/projects/post/emr-adj-length-intake/

    1.4 CGA3 N/A Build - High compression psi

It is also about the balance across all 4 cylinders, if they are all roughly around the 190psi mark then the rings etc... are all healthy.

    Sam's 1st Project - Kylie the K11

The problem comes from the heat from the brakes melting the paint, which then comes out and then leaves the nuts loose.

    Sam's 1st Project - Kylie the K11

You need to remove the paint where the wheel nuts sit otherwise you nuts will come undone... For the other wheels a cheap pack of playing cards makes masking up the wheel a LOT easier, plenty of videos on YouTube of this.

Engine doens't crank anymore in cold weather.

Check the condition of the battery leads, the earth leads are known to cause issues. Try using a jump lead to replace an earth lead between the engine block and the negative battery terminal.

    Flooded engine

They all do this, easiest way round it is to leave engines running for a few mins to warm things up before switching off.

    PollyMobiles Rebuild

Paul a couple of questions for you... (and others with similar setups) When you changed your rear trailing arms to adjustable ones, did you notice an improvement in handling? What do you adjust on the arms, and how did you 'set them up' ? Currently do some work on the back of our Micra and...

Vacuum at Idle on 1.4 Micra

Can you not use an electric servo, many diesels and turbo cars of the 90's had these as they produce little to no vacuum?

    New Throttle Body

I have swapped them over before without resetting anything and it didn’t cause any real issues.
