Dextron II (Red stuff) is about £25 for 5L. But we have a torsen (gear) diff not a plate one.

I now use ATF fluid in the gearbox, this is what Matt H recommended and comes out very clean even with a lot of rally abuse.

Looks right, but you will also need the caliper carrier. These bolt on the K11 hub with x2 washers as spacers between the hub and carrier. Look out for second hand ones as a starting point.

N15 1.4 Almera brakes do fit under 13" wheels, I know as that what we run. And you can now get Mintex F4R pads for the calipers as they were developed for us.

I do think would be one way to install ITB's and still keep the standard ECU setup. You could install this and use the standard TB to do throttle job and you get the MAF values. Would still need mapping but would avoid re-wiring, and new ECU costs....

It is worth it whilst you have the space, and brace the front wishbone mounts to the bulkhead. I can send you pictures of what I have done to mine.

Hope you are going to seam weld the engine bay whilst it is empty?

Usual post event work : oil & filter change, check NS CV joint, full bolt check. Plus: bled all brakes with RBF660 fluid, changed gearbox oil, repaired dent / hole from a pallet moment on last event, welded up hole in OS rear arch which was leading stress cracks, seamed welded inside rear...

Yep never worked for me either. Use the flashing LED to give you a code,or you have to pay out for a proper system. Not cheap but works well.

Micra's love a bit of water, have had the Micra in some very deep fords. Some well over a foot deep.

I did wonder about glazing.

Nice work those inner tie rods are well known for not matching what you can buy as spares...

Although they don't look 100% right, I am sure mine were like that. I just lubed them up (copper slip), and fitted them and they bedded in fine with no issues on the rally car.

I have used just instant gasket with no issues.
