Frank your the man, i'm going to stick to the lightened and balanced standard manual one its cheap, simple and effective. If i did use an auto one then plates etc have to be made and that get complicated- simple is best! Thanks for the reply to the PM BTW!:blues:

Could you not drill and tap bolt holes onto the auto flywheel to attach the clutch? Is the auto one different in any other way? Or just stick to the lightened manual one?? Cheers frank you always come up with the goods!!!!(Y)

Either bore the centres out or lenghten the studs and use spacers, there are loads of wheels that will fit a micra- toyota, vauxhall, renault, vw, honda i think its just ford and peugeot that dont i have golf gti wheels on mine!

Good service with nissan parts- new or bigger injectors? Uprate the inlet and exhaust? But micras arent always about speed concerntrate on the handling more because it the corners that make you smile:grinning:

Auto gearboxes dont have ''filters'' this black box ontop of the gearbox should just pull out and i think its just a plug for the filler hole? Hope im right and this helps!

It sounds like the cable has snapped like andy said disconnect from gearbox end and turn or pull slightly on the inner cable to see if it comes out easy.

Have been wondering if an auto box flywheel would go into a manual gearbox? They look alot lighter.... i have a lightened and balanced one already but just wondering if anything could be done with an auto one? Any advise or veiws please....
