there come to a point in increasing fuel pressure that the injector turns from a 'mister' to a 'squirter' that's probably around 47+ psi. You want a nice misting spray for good combustion.

my fuel pumps on the way out. I now have to wait for pressure before starting the car... I have a gtir pump ready to install, thankfully. That makes it too much to do to get the turbo back in for the weekend.... by the time I detail it, inside and out it'll be satdee anyway....sorry guys

check your sway bar drop links... they are just sit in nylon cups and break easily but don't look broken so they bang over bumps....

This month I've replaced head gasket and water pump, yesterday drive-shafts, now looking to replace input bearing on gearbox. I've been thinking of putting my turbo back in the car (just got to make a new dump pipe & heat shielding) on low boost 3-4psi for the meet on 18th December. OR...

man, old threads.... I can't compare standard exhaust with a sport exhaust.. I sorta did the turbo thing... I 'noticed' a liitle difference in power.....! I'd still do the flywheel and maybe a hd clutch while you got the box off- cuz everything you do to the car will effect the poor old clutch...

oh, check also the rear rubber mount of the lower suspension (A arm) the rubber wears out and the finger bumps around in the elongation...(man:- try and write that without laughing...)
